Who doesn’t love a good air show?
Florida Institute of Technology will be making an appearance at the world’s greatest aviation celebration — EAA AirVenture’s Oshkosh 2013.
This year’s event will have a special Education and Interactive Zone (EIZ) where many of the colleges, including Florida Tech, will be located. In partnership with The College of Aeronautics (COA) and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), Florida Tech plans on showcasing one of the new Piper Archers and a few gadgets and gizmos from the College of Engineering (COE). Come say hello if you’re in the area!
In addition to presenting the objects on display, FIT will also be hosting a reception Wednesday evening, July 31, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on the lot in the EIZ. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight on Florida Tech’s exceptional aviation programs and to meet some outstanding alumni from around the world. The admissions staff will also be on-hand to answer your questions.
Any graduate, current student or prospective student interested in attending the reception, or for additional information, please contact Nick Galli, firstname.lastname@example.org or (321) 674-7369.
