National Champions on the Soccer Field Reunite on the Golf Course

On his recent family vacation to Orlando, Keiran Breslin took some time out to meet up with some fellow soccer alumni for a game of golf at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club. Breslin, who was part of the 1991 National Championship side, was joined by his ‘91 teammate and recent Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame inductee Eddie Enders as well as members of FIT’s 1988 Championship side Bino Campanini and Robin Chan. In a good-natured game, the old boys from ’88 beat Breslin and Enders quite handily to which Breslin commented “Obviously Bino and Robin have more time to work on their game than we do!”

This winter it will be 25 years since the Panthers won their first NCAA II National Championship in 1988. Do you have memories of the team or of the Championship win? Share them at alumni@fit.edu
