Meet Dr. Johnson

I am Kevin Johnson, an Associate Professor of Oceanography in the Department of Marine and Environmental Systems (College of Engineering, Florida Institute of Technology). My teaching and research interests are in Marine Invertebrate Ecology, Zooplankton, and Invasive Species. Oceanography at Florida Tech encompasses the broad range of ocean-related disciplines. In addition to Biological Oceanography, we offer degrees in Chemical Oceanography, Geological Oceanography, Physical Oceanography, and the related disciplines of Environmental Science and Meteorology. In this blog, I share a variety of our Biological Oceanographic activities, including courses I teach, and my research in the areas of marine ecology and plankton.
