Meet Philip

Phil is an aviation meteorology with flight major who is working on becoming a flight meteorologist. After college, his aim is to work for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Corps. (NOAA Corps.) Most people know them as the "Hurricane Hunters". Phil grew up in Rockville, Maryland near Washington, D.C. While in High School, he was the Team Captain and MVP of the Varsity Golf Team. Here at Florida Tech, he is currently involved in Florida Tech College Radio (FTCR), Panther Pride Leaders (PPL), FIT Student Rocket Research Society (FITSRRS), Falcon Precision Flight Team, Long-boarding Club, and the Florida Tech student chapter of the American Meteorological Society (FITSCAMS). Feel free to talk to Phil about any of the clubs on campus or activities around the area as well as education questions!
